Clear-out of the Former Higher Vocational School Building on Šmeralova Street in Karlovy Vary
During January and February, we carried out the clear-out of school equipment from the former higher vocational school building on Šmeralova Street in Karlovy Vary, including disassembly, sorting and subsequent disposal of materials.
Clearing out a larger building is not only about removing old equipment. Projects like this require organisation, proper planning, disassembly of individual items, sorting of materials and subsequent transport for disposal. This was exactly the case with our project in the former higher vocational school building on Šmeralova Street in Karlovy Vary.
Clearing out school equipment on Šmeralova Street
In the former higher vocational school building on Šmeralova Street in Karlovy Vary, we were responsible for clearing out the original school equipment. This mainly included desks, chairs, teachers’ desks, notice boards, teaching aids and other items that needed to be gradually disassembled, sorted and prepared for removal.
With this type of project, a well-planned process is essential. The larger the building, the more important it is to organise the work properly, coordinate individual steps and keep the space orderly throughout the project. This is what allows the entire clear-out to run efficiently and without unnecessary complications.
When an entire school building is being cleared out
School buildings are not only about moving furniture out. They often contain a large amount of equipment, different types of materials and items that need to be safely disassembled, sorted and prepared for further handling and disposal.
Disassembly, sorting and subsequent disposal
The project did not involve only carrying out individual pieces of equipment. It also included disassembly and subsequent sorting of waste according to the type of material. School furniture often consists of a combination of wood, metal parts, plastics, paper and other materials that need to be properly separated.
Thanks to our experience with clear-outs in Karlovy Vary, we are able to handle similar projects systematically from start to finish. In larger buildings, the pace of work is important, but so is making sure that all steps follow each other smoothly.
Disassembly
Disassembling selected school equipment and preparing individual parts for safe removal.
Sorting
Separating materials by waste type so that appropriate disposal can be arranged.
Removal
Gradual removal of desks, chairs, teachers’ desks, notice boards and other school equipment.
Disposal
Transporting sorted materials and handing them over for appropriate disposal.

Clear-outs in Karlovy Vary: from smaller spaces to entire buildings
This project shows that clear-out services can take many different forms. Sometimes it is an apartment, basement, attic or office. Other times, an entire building needs to be cleared out in stages, with careful sorting of materials and a clear sequence of work.
Thanks to our base in Karlovy Vary, we provide not only clear-outs in Karlovy Vary, but also related services such as handling equipment, transporting materials and follow-up road transport. For larger projects, a coordinated team, suitable vehicle and experience with work in extensive buildings are a major advantage.
If part of the project also involves relocating usable equipment, we can connect the clear-out with our moving services in Karlovy Vary. Every project is adapted to the specific conditions of the site, the scope of work and the client’s requirements.
The process in several steps
1. Preparation and organisation
At the beginning, it was necessary to determine the scope of the clear-out, divide the work and set up the handling process for the equipment.
2. Disassembly of equipment
Selected pieces of furniture and equipment were gradually disassembled so they could be safely removed and sorted.
3. Sorting of materials
Individual types of waste were separated by material and prepared for subsequent transport.
4. Transport and disposal
After the clear-out and sorting were completed, the materials were transported for appropriate disposal.
Why is clearing out a school building specific?
School buildings usually contain a larger amount of similar equipment that needs to be processed systematically. Desks, chairs, teachers’ desks, notice boards and teaching aids may be located in different parts of the building, which is why a clear plan and smooth organisation of work are essential.
The sequence of individual tasks is also important. Disassembly, removal, sorting and transport must be organised in a way that continuously frees up the space and allows the project to continue without unnecessary delays.
Sorting and disposal of waste
During clear-out projects, we focus on sorting materials wherever possible. Wood, metal parts, plastics, paper and mixed waste each require a different approach.
The final price and the overall procedure always depend on the scope of work, amount of material, access inside the building, need for disassembly and the requested schedule. General information can also be found in our moving and clear-out price list.
